In a previous jewelry tips article, I’ve approached the theme How to Accessorize Jewelry. Tip 3 tells “Each jewel must complement your skin tone as well as your outfit”, this article will go deep on this and help you to choose jewelry according to your skin tone!
Although is important to consider that jewelry colors work better with some skin tones than others, you need to know the skin tone rule is a guideline, your personality, style and personal preferences are imperative when purchasing jewelry!
Determine your Skin Tone
Look at your skin in natural light, find a spot where the veins are noticeable.
> If your veins color appears purple or blue, you have a cool skin tone.
> If your veins appear green in color, you have a warm skin tone.
> If your veins appear blue in some areas and green in others, you have a neutral skin tone.
It’s important to notice that skin tone is not the same as skin color. Skin tone is closely related to your ethnic background and skin color has more to do with the environment, for example, people with dark or tan skin color can have a cool skin tone.
Choose jewelry according to your skin tone
Jewelry for Cool Skin Tones
